Winter warmth from the inside out ~

Gemma-Lee ~ Holistic Therapist & Lifestyle Coach

Winter's chill may grasp the world outside, but it's easy to cultivate warmth from within. I've discovered the secret to embracing winter's coziness lies in nurturing my inner heat. For me, this means sipping on a rich, velvety cup of Cacao, its deep flavours transporting me to a state of serenity and comfort.

Whether you're a summer enthusiast like myself or a winter lover, incorporating this simple yet powerful ritual into your daily routine can have a profound impact on your overall well-being. So join me in embracing the warmth of winter, one delicious cup at a time!

Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 80g Cacao chunks (I like Tribal Moon Ceremonial Cacao)

  • 400ml Almond Milk

  • 40ml Coconut Cream

  • 200ml cooled Boiled Water

  • 40ml Maple Syrup (alternatives include Rice Malt Syrup or honey)

  • 1tsp Nutmeg

  • 1tsp Black Pepper

  • Pinch of Cinnamon

  • Pinch of Himalayan Rock Salt

  • Paprika, Cumin & Vanilla to taste

Instructions

  1. Place Cacao chunks in post, pour in cooled boiled water and almond milk

  2. Whilst stirring continually with the stove on medium heat, practice mindfulness in the process, focusing on this task at hand.

  3. Ensure not to bring the mix to boiling point, remove from heat as necessary

  4. Continuing to stir, add coconut cream, spices and sweeteners

  5. When all Cacao is completely melted, and there is a gentle flow of steam, the process is finished and ready to serve!
